Backlog: The best way to manage your projects. Wiki, tasks, files all in one place. This is like taking good parts of JIRA and Trello, combined into one tool. You can start for free.

Square: You might have already used Square before – but the company offers a wide range of payment solutions to get your business off the ground, from card payment to invoice to ecommerce.

Business idea “Babel”: Tinder for Language Learning.

The fastest way to learn a new language is talking with native speakers of that language. But that’s easier said than done.

Going to school is expensive. Talking with strangers is boring.

Now here’s the third way – dating with people who speak the language you want to learn.

Think of Babel as Tinder (or Ashley Madison if you’re in a relationship) for language learning.

You can add your personal preferences and a language you want to learn on the site to get profile suggestions. If both parties show interest, you can start chatting.

With globalization, the English learning market is growing – expected to hit 50 billion dollars by 2025. [1]

Companies like Duolingo are for single players and online tutoring sites (Skype, etc) are for serious learners. Babel can be uniquely positioned and get attention.

Language learning is good even if you don’t have immediate needs, because speaking a foreign language gives you a deeper understanding of your native language.

Goethe said “He who does not know foreign languages does not know anything about his own.”
